A customer of ours for more than 14 years, we’ve helped HBV in their mission is to provide essential educational services to unskilled non-professional and economically disadvantaged women in Wilson County. Healing Broken Vessels offers a variety of programs and services, including basic computer training, life development skills, and empowering workshops and seminars. HBV is a valuable resource for women in Wilson County. The organization’s programs and services have helped hundreds of women improve their lives, and the organization is committed to continuing its work in the years to come.

John’s Place is a legendary, beloved restaurant and bar in Cookeville, Tennessee and bar run by the McClellan family in Cookeville since 1949. Currently ran by McClellan family member Bill Roberts, the restaurant has been awarded a grant specifically aimed at preserving the legacy of longstanding community eateries. This recognition comes alongside the Four Way Restaurant in Memphis, Tennessee as part of a concerted effort to bolster historic small restaurants that have dutifully served their communities for generations. The program is funded by American Express and administered by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 2011 for its contribution to race relations.

They also provide emergency eye treatment and pre/postoperative care for refractive surgeries such as LASIK. Three United Methodist Churches in the Caney Fork River District in Tennessee with a rich history going as far back as 1890, we were ecstatic to have these three honored sanctuaries onboard for multiple projects starting in late 2022. Burton’s Chapel, established in the early 1900s by the Burton and Burgess families, holds a significant historical legacy. James Burton, a former slave who fought in the Civil War, returned as a free man after the abolition of slavery. He became one of the first African Americans in Putnam County, Tennessee, to purchase land and engage in entrepreneurship. With his wife Margaret, they generously donated the land where Burton’s Chapel United Methodist Church stands today. Kynett United Methodist Church traces its origins back to 1880 when it was initially organized in a log cabin. Three years later, the congregation moved to its first building, led by Reverend Holder. In 1960, under the guidance of Reverend J.B. Royal, the present-day building was constructed. Wright’s Chapel United Methodist Church has a long history in the community with its foundation beginning in the late 1890s. In 1913, the building was reconstructed under the leadership of the late Reverend T.H. Hanna, and in 1959, the present structure was erected with the guidance of the late Reverend Jessie P. Miller.
